  • Saturday 3rd August: Nish Kumar 9.50pm Queen Dome Pleasance Dome (£10pp)
  • Monday 5th August: Afrique En Cirque 5.10pm Main Hall Assembly Hall (went to see this last year – totally amazing) (£19pp, 2-for-1 tickets on 5th and 6th August)
  • Tuesday 6th August: Flamenco Fiesta 7pm Alba Flamenco (really nice small venue with great tapas and sangria!!) (£15pp, 2-for-1 tickets on 5th and 6th August)
  • Saturday 10th August: Kevin Quantum – Anti Gravity 2.30pm Gilded Balloon Patter House (also known as my friend Kev from university who quit his Physics PhD to become a magician… he’s very good… opp to meet him after the show (but no asking him what I got up to during university – that info is more top secret than his magic tricks 😉 – Sarah and I have already booked this one for this date/time!) (£15pp, 2-for-1 tickets on 5th and 6th August)
  • Saturday 10th August: Akala (Keynote talk): 4pm Festival Theatre “Find solidarity in understanding the world we live in with the British Hip hop artist, author and social entrepreneur” (from £20pp)
  • Tuesday 13th August (only date): Youssou N’Dour 8pm Usher Hall (with optional pre-show drinks/snacks at my flat, since it’s on the same street/30 seconds walk away) (from £20.50pp)
  • (not yet booked…) Friday 23 August Beyond Borders: Peace for the Planet 1:45pm EFI Spiegeltent – “Andrew Gilmour (UN Assistant Secretary General for Human Rights and author of The Burning Question) joins Ameya Kilara (peace mediation expert and founder of the South Asian Leadership Initiative) to discuss working towards a peaceful planet”
