• Garifuna Drumming Lessons

Lessons are available for everyone aged 5 years and up, and are adapted to suit your skill level.  One-to-one lessons are ideal for those wishing to learn a lot in a short space of time, but group lessons are also available.  Rates begin at $7.50USD per hour for children, with negotiable rates for groups and regular bookings.

Lessons can be given either at the Drum School, or at your house or residence if you are staying in Punta Gorda town (or further afield if you can provide transportation or cover transportation costs and time). 

Ray also has his own Garifuna drumming group, which performs countrywide.  Rates begin at $75USD per hour for local performances.

Garifuna drum-making, language, and dancing lessons are also available, as well as lessons on the other main percussion instruments ('shakas' and turtle-shells).  See the other pages for more information on these activities.
